Needles: Circular and dpn 8mm

The socks from summer are finally ready and oh, so good for my feet. The color just seems a bit violent for autumn, I'm feeling more for greys and browns at the moment. But maybe it's a good thing to have one's toes soaked in color.

The little hat with a ribbon and heart was a fast knit yesterday evening without much planning, because I wanted to try out the yarn. Not the best hat for playing in the mud, but perhaps we'll have some snow some time this winter.

Sydänpipo satiininauhalla syntyi pikaisesti eilen illlalla ilman kummempia suunnitelmia.

Pretty socks! I think this is what Noro is good for - leaves thick stripes, stripes irregularly and the way it is random ALWAYS looks good!

Hi there, love, love those socks, such gorgeous colours. I have no idea how you just make up a hat pattern. I wouldn't have a clue where to start. It is so cute by the way. Dev x

You have been busy! The socks look so deliciously warm and cozy. I enjoy a splash of color on my feet. I think it is fun, you can have on very dull colored clothing in the winter and under your boots you have such pretty socks!

The hat is also darling. How wonderful that you made the pattern yourself! It is so sweet with the heart and ribbon.

Hope that you and your family are alle well and enjoying the pretty fall days.

Merja:Kiitos. Jokos olet aloittanut Noro-sukat? Lähetän pienen kaukopotkun. Noroa on hauska kutoa, kun värimaailma tuo koko ajan vaihtelua.

Outi: Kiitos. Turha kateus pois ja sukkaa puikoille.

Anu: Tuo langan pirteys olikin alkusykäys koko sukille. Ovat kieltämättä olleet paljon käytössä, piristämässä.

Niina: Totta puhut. Kyllä tästä Etelä-Suomenkin ruskasta löytyy suurin osa noita värejä, Lapissa olisivatkin varmaan kaikki.

Mari: Kiitokset!

Satu:Kiitos sinullekin. Molemmat ovat jo kuluneet kiitettävästi käytössä.

Bohemian girl:I agree. The best thing about Noro is definitely the way they make even the strangest colors look good together. I must say though that this sock yarn is not the most durable one.

Dev.:Thanks, dear! But you have the talent to crochet almost anything. I like knitting hats, because they are fast to get ready.

Ravenhill: Thank you! just like you said: many days my socks have been the color in my mostly grey outfit.
It's such a delight to knit something that my girls really want to wear, however usually it means that some heart motif, pink, glitter or lace have to be in it.
