The long search for the right kind of calender for me got a happy ending with this one from Ideri.
There are plenty of free pages for my own notes and hopefully for some drawings. The fabrics for the calender cover are already chosen, but the sewing inspiration is yet to cover.

Pitkä etsintä tuotti lopulta tulosta ja löysin kalenterin Ideriltä. Kalenterissa on paljon tyhjiä sivuja omille muistiinpanoille ja toivottavasti niille kertyy myös piirrustuksia. Kankaat kalenterin irtopäällysiin on jo valittuina, mutta ompeluinto antaa odottaa itseään.

Hi Merruli just sent a comment but you don't seem to have it. I love the diary but am confused when you say you have to cover it? Also, my daughter really loves the cardigan in your previous post. The one with the ruffle edging. Can you tell me where you got the pattern from..is it possible to have a copy? I have just finished a neck warmer(see my blog) and feel the need to knit something else now. Dev X

Dev: Well, I think the calender would be quite ok without a cover, but I quite like fabric covers so that is why I'm planning to make one for it.

Julie: The embroidery is indeed one of my happy finds, one of my favorite ones.
Ilona: Otuksia löytyy miltei joka sivulta eli piristyksiä joka viikolle.
Inka: Kalenterin valinta tuntuu muuttuvan joka vuosi vaikeammaksi. Tässäkin on yksi huono puoli - on verrattain painava hartiasärkyisen kassiin, mutta tätä kantaa ilolla, kun muistikirjan voi ympätä vapaille sivuille.
Thanks for the pattern info. If you like the neck scarf, you can find the free pattern on www.knitty.com when the home page comes up click on archive at the top. On the next page it asks what you want to knit, click on box and scroll down to scarves. When the list appears click on Flora about half way down the list and there you have it. Dev X
