How to find time to bake?

Tell a four-year-old that you are going to bake something and inevitably you will, no matter how tired or busy you are. It is way easier to bake with a child than constantly be reminded of a hastily given promise to do it. Besides having fun baking, you''ll have something healthy and delicious to enjoy. Done yesterday, gone by tomorrow. Maybe we'll have something sweet for the weekend.

How pretty your baked goods look and I am not surprised they are gone really fast! Lucky children you have to get to bake with mother. I am sure they love it! Wonderful post!

Meruli, kids like cooking and baking, that is what I have learned from my little guy. He likes to stand on a chair at the counter and pretend he cooks as well. It is demanding for me but he gets familiar with the food he is supposed to eat later and doesn't refuses it as often. I even got a book called Cooking with children or something like that but probably won' t use it as usually.

Ravenhill: I'm better at doing household with my kids than playing with them. I guess that's something I've inherited from my own mum. she used to bake once a week, when we were young.

Bohemian girl: yes,my kids like cooking as well, but mostly when I'm cooking the dinner in a hurry, they only get to look not participate. And that is so true, if they see how the dinner is made they are most likely to eat it aswell.

Mary-Laure:I agree, baking with mum creates good, strong memories.
